SPECTACULOR RUNNING AT SPAR WOMEN'S 10KM SERIES

SPAR Grand Prix title holder Kesa Molotsane (KPMG), who dominated the SPAR Women’s 10km Series last year, continued her winning ways on Sunday with a comprehensive win in the opening race of the 2018 series at the Bellville Stadium in Cape Town. Her winning time was 34.10.

SEMENYA BRINGS THE HOUSE DOWN

In windy conditions, South African middle distance star, Caster Semenya gave the 34-year-old SA 1500m record a good scare at the third and final Liquid Telecom Athletix Grand Prix Series Meeting in Paarl on Thursday, 22 March when she crossed the line in 4:0.2.50. The record of 4:01.80 still stands behind the name of Zola Budd, which she ran in Port Elizabeth on 21 March in 1984.
